Atty. MaryAnn Arnado (Secretary General, Mindanao Peoples Caucus), Congressman Rufus Rodriguez, (Chairman of the Adhoc House Committee on the Bangsamoro Basic Law) welcomes us, as we represent Coffee for Peace, in the lobby of the House of Representatives, Republic of the Philippines. 07 October 2014.

Coffee for Peace is now available at the South Wing Annex of the House of Representatives!

“The peace of Mindanao is the peace of Luzon and Visayas.”

This is our message to the legislators in both Congress and Senate to get their votes in support of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).

We sought the permission of the Philippine Congress for us to put up a Coffee For Peace kiosk where our representatives and senators can enjoy our complimentary brewed coffee and at the same time help our peace network in Mindanao to gather support for the passing of the BBL. Our 100% Mindanao Arabica coffee, produced by Mindanao farmers, is a form of communication that would allow them to taste, smell, see, hear, and touch the brewing peace in Mindanao.

This is a crucial time for our peace advocacy and for our social business to demonstrate-in-action the purpose of our existence as Coffee For Peace, Inc.
