Baby Zylie Estrella Velasco Pantoja was born last 30 July 2018 at 1531 PHT at the Davao Doctor’s Hospital. She’s born to Mandy Velasco, a fashion designer in Davao City, and Daniel Byron — our son. Zylie is our youngest and 7th grandchild.

Tala Alngag (Twinkle Bautista) left for Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA last 21 August 2018. She has been accepted to the graduate program of Eastern Mennonite University—Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. Her objective is to plunge into the course towards the degree of Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation and finish it from SY-2018 to SY-2020.

REFLECTIVE NOTES DURING A PARADOXICAL DAY OF MARRIAGE- AND LIFE-CELEBRATION

This morning, Joji and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary. We did this in the midst of sadness because her mother passed away three days ago. We helped in leading the funeral services. What a paradoxical day!
