There is a need to sustain strategic peacebuilding through impact investment. Such investments support social entrepreneurial endeavors that lead towards regenerative and inclusive development. This is how Coffee for Peace (CFP) and PeaceBuilders Community, Inc. (PBCI) operate in synergy.

OUR PAR FIELD STAFF RESPONDS TO A CALL FOR POST-CONFLICT PILOT LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM
Sihaya Ansibod leads a Peace and Reconciliation Team to train Bangsamoro folks in North Cotabato to enhance their coffee farming technique. These farmers have heard how some coffee communities we’ve trained were able to win in national coffee quality competitions and were able to export their specialty coffee to international market. They invited Sihaya and her team to share what we’ve been learning about inclusive development.

PBSL LAUNCHES ‘SOUTH PEACE EQUIPPING’ — A MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS
PeaceBuilders School of Leadership (PBSL) started its new SouthPeace Equipping program focusing on developing individuals and groups who are ready to be trained as social entrepreneurs. The two-year program consists of Entrepreneurial Introspection & Ideation; Introduction to Inclusive Development; Basic Social Entrepreneurial Skills; and, Proposal Writing for Social Business. These skills are imparted to the participants along with a set of ethical values we call Peace and Reconciliation (PAR) Principles and Practices.
