The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team of Coffee for Peace (CFP) is a group of volunteer writers and web designers at PeaceBuilders Community Incorporated (PBCI) who are working from different parts of the globe. Their task is to share the Peace and Reconciliation (PAR) activities of CFP-PBCI — like, inclusive development initiatives, social entrepreneurial training, multiplication of effective peacebuilding workers, conflict transformation consulting, and restorative justice processes.

We started the leadership transition process from the founding generation to the younger generation. JOJI IS ONE OF THE THREE GLOBAL HONOUREES OF THE ‘2020 OSLO BUSINESS FOR PEACE AWARD’
Today, the Business for Peace Foundation announced the ‘2020 Oslo Business for Peace Award’ winners. Joji Pantoja, President & CEO of Coffee for Peace, is one of the three winners of this prestigious award. The official citation says: “She has dedicated her career to building peace in conflict zones and improving the lives of marginalised groups through economic stability.” Coffee for Peace is a social enterprise and a twin-organization of PeaceBuilders Community.

WE’RE GRATEFUL TO MCEC AND MCCANADA FOR A NEW COFFEE ROASTING MACHINE
To further build upon the economic sustainability of our farming partners among Indigenous, Bangsamoro, and Settler communities, PBCI and CFP are building shared roasting facilities allowing our coffee farming partners to roast their own beans and sell directly into local markets.

TALA TAKES OFF FOR A TWO-YEAR ACADEMIC JOURNEY
Tala Alngag (Twinkle Bautista) left for Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA last 21 August 2018. She has been accepted to the graduate program of Eastern Mennonite University—Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. Her objective is to plunge into the course towards the degree of Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation and finish it from SY-2018 to SY-2020.
